“Nature is man’s teacher. She unfolds her treasures to his search, unseals his eye, illuminates his mind, and purifies his heart; an influence breathes from all the sights and sounds of her existence.”
– Alfred Billings Street
Living and working in the heart of downtown Toronto, I take refuge in mother nature to simply relax and clear my mind. Whether it be a nice urban walk along Lakeshore during a weeknight, or a two hour drive in the country side to Collingwood, venturing into trails has always provided me with the needed mental solitude to reflect over my past week.
This blog will document some of my weekend adventures, as I explore trails and parks (mainly) around the Greater Toronto Area. I will share any thoughts and tips of my experience, as well as loads of photos to hopefully inspire you to visit.
